This is where the Brock road-car story began. A genuine 1980 HDT VC Brock Commodore, one of only 500 produced and, significantly, the exceptionally early Build #010.
Finished in its original Firethorn Red with Carmine velour trim, this car underwent an extraordinary ground-up rotisserie restoration spanning from 2006 to 2017. The body was stripped to bare metal before being refinished in its correct factory colour, while the interior, mechanicals, suspension, body kit and detailing were comprehensively restored.
The same level of workmanship continues underneath. The floorpan, suspension components, differential, fuel tank, braking hardware and exhaust system have all been meticulously restored and detailed. It presents underneath to the same exceptional standard as the body and interior — clear evidence of the depth of this restoration.
The HDT-prepared 308ci V8 has been completely rebuilt, with the odometer now displaying 4,017 kilometres travelled since the rebuild. It is paired with the desirable TH350 three-speed automatic and retains the defining HDT equipment, including Bilstein suspension, cold-air induction, four-wheel power disc brakes, HDT aerodynamic bodywork and 15-inch Irmscher alloy wheels.
Specification is exceptional, with the highly desirable optional electric sunroof, power windows, central locking, power steering and the beautifully restored Carmine velour interior.
