This 2016 Ford Falcon FG X XR8 Sprint is finished in white with the genuine gold Brembo brake package.
The XR8 Sprint was Ford Australia's send-off for the Falcon — the very last V8 sports sedan the company ever built locally, with production ending in October 2016. Just 750 XR8 Sprints were made in total, each with an individually numbered build plate on the engine.
Power comes from the supercharged 5.0-litre "Miami" V8, producing 345kW and 575Nm continuously, with a 10-second overboost function lifting that to 400kW and 650Nm. Stopping power is genuine gold-anodised Brembo — six-piston front calipers on 355mm rotors, four-piston rear on 330mm rotors — paired with launch control and a limited-slip differential. The Sprint's chassis was developed from FPV's track-proven R-SPEC suspension package.
Sprint-specific styling includes the black-painted roof, black wing mirrors, black headlight bezels and boot lip spoiler, along with the 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels — the first black wheels ever fitted by Ford Australia to a performance model.
