The 30th Anniversary ClubSport R8 LSA was HSV's farewell to the most celebrated nameplate in the company's history. Built in 2017 as local manufacturing drew to a close, this was the final evolution of the ClubSport — and HSV made sure it went out properly.
The 30th Anniversary brought meaningful improvements over the standard R8 LSA. Power was increased to 410kW and 691Nm from the supercharged 6.2-litre LSA V8. Torque vectoring by brake was added across the range — a genuine handling improvement that sharpens turn-in and amplifies mid-corner grip. The bi-modal exhaust was recalibrated to open earlier in the rev range. Each car received a unique engine build plate, 30 Years fender badges, sill plates, floor mats and rear window sticker — commemorative content that marks this as the genuine send-off model.
