An extraordinary opportunity to acquire one of the lowest-kilometre examples of Ford's final turbocharged six-cylinder performance sedan. Finished in Winter White and having travelled just 945 kilometres from new, this 2016 FG X XR6 Sprint, Build Number 263, remains completely original, unmodified and untouched, exactly as it left the factory.
Released in 2016 to mark the end of Australian Falcon production, the XR6 Sprint was strictly limited to just 500 examples for Australia, with a further 50 allocated to New Zealand. Each car received an individually numbered engine build plate, unique Sprint badging, black 19-inch alloy wheels, distinctive rear-quarter graphics and gold Brembo braking hardware. The Sprint represented the final and most powerful factory evolution of Ford's legendary 4.0-litre turbocharged Barra engine.
Producing 325kW and 576Nm, with an overboost function delivering up to 370kW and 650Nm, the XR6 Sprint received upgraded turbocharger hardware derived from the FPV F6, revised engine calibration and a six-speed automatic transmission. Factory six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brakes completed the package.
What separates this particular example is its extraordinary level of preservation. With just 945 kilometres travelled, Build Number 263 remains completely unmolested, with no modifications or alterations from its original factory specification. Finding another Australian-delivered XR6 Sprint with fewer than 1,000 kilometres in this condition would be close to impossible, and even if one surfaced, finding an owner willing to part with it at a sensible price would be another matter entirely.
