EXCEPTIONALLY RARE OCTANE ORANGE FPV GT-P — BELIEVED FEWER THAN 10 PRODUCED, BUILD NO. 0135. JUST 63,776 KILOMETRES.
This 2008 FPV GT-P is finished in Octane Orange, one of the rarest colours seen on an FG GT-P and a combination believed to account for fewer than 10 examples produced. For the FPV collector, that alone puts this car into a very different category from the usual GT-P.
Build No. 0135, this is an early FG example from the first year of production and represents an important point in FPV history. The FG generation introduced the Boss 315, with the 5.4-litre quad-cam V8 producing 315kW and 551Nm, together with significant chassis and braking improvements over the BF generation.
The GT-P sat above the GT as the more heavily specified flagship, with its own interior treatment, 19-inch alloy wheels, Brembo braking and unique visual detailing. This example presents beautifully with the signature GT-P exterior graphics, large rear wing and embroidered sports seating all contributing to the proper period-correct look.
What makes this car especially collectible is the combination of rarity, colour, build number and mileage.
