This 2006 Ford Performance Vehicles Force 6 BF MkII is finished in Silhouette Black, carrying Build No. 019.
The Force 6 was FPV's answer to HSV's Senator Signature — a luxury-focused version of the F6 Typhoon, built to compete in the high-performance executive segment rather than the go-fast Clubsport/GTS space. It runs the same 4.0-litre turbocharged Barra inline-six as the Typhoon, producing 270kW and 550Nm through a ZF six-speed automatic, but wears a more conservative body kit with no rear wing (lip spolier instead), chrome highlights and dark agent wheels, paired with a genuinely upmarket interior — woodgrain inserts, 8-way electric leather seats, dual-zone climate control and a performance steering wheel.
FPV built just 63 Force 6 sedans in total before the model was discontinued with the FG update in 2008 — rarer than the well-known F6 Typhoon R-Spec, of which 300 were built, and one of the rarest cars FPV ever put into production. There is not a single Force 6 currently listed for sale on — the only comparable FPV currently on the market is a Force 8 listed at $89,990, with other F6 Typhoons asking similar money to this car. We believe this Force 6 is worth more than that given its extreme rarity, however for a quick sale we're happy to sell at this price.
At 57,675 kilometres, this is a genuinely well-kept example of a car most Australian performance car enthusiasts have never seen in person, let alone owned. Build No. 019, out of only 63 ever made, with this little surviving example count, finding another one in this condition isn't a matter of waiting for the next one to come along — there may not be a next one.
